Maggie (Missy Peregrym), who had previously appeared on FBI, was seen by viewers for the final time in the episode that aired on April 19, 2022.

The plot was developed as a result of the fact that, in reality, Missy was expecting a child and was getting ready to take maternity leave. Fans are interested in learning when Missy will return to the show as well as whether or not Maggie will return to the New York field office now that the show is officially in its fifth season.

When Will Maggie Bell Make Her Return To The Television Show ‘FBI’?

Viewers of FBI can exhale a sigh of relief now that their favorite agent is scheduled to return to television in the middle of the autumn season.

Rick Eid, the show’s executive producer, recently gave an interview to TV Insider in which he said that the character of Missy will be making her return during the fifth season, during which she will be dealing with the emotional and psychological fallout of the tragedy.

“Maggie is resilient and strong. Rick added that although OA is aware of this fact, he is also quite protective – perhaps even overprotective. However, at the end of the day, they are wonderful friends and will always be each other’s rock.”

In addition, Missy announced the wonderful news on Instagram over the summer of this past year, along with a picture of her two gorgeous children and her husband, Tom Oakley.

Missy wrote the photo of herself with the following: “FBI will be starting up again in a couple of weeks, however I will be returning to work in September.” “I am relieved and appreciative that I will have the opportunity to spend time with my family, to relax and get well, and to fulfill my most important role—that of a mother—which is more challenging than any other job.

I am aware that this is a luxury, but I really want that every mother, parent, and caregiver could have this. I would like to express my gratitude for all of the love, prayers, and support that has come from our community.”

Because episodes of FBI are normally filmed approximately one month before they are scheduled to run, we can probably anticipate that Maggie will make her return to our screens some time during the month of October.

Missy’s Replacement Shantel VanSanten Details

Shantel VanSanten was chosen to play Nina Chase, the OA’s stand-in companion, when Missy was taking a break from filming the show. Fans of Nina, on the other hand, do not need to be concerned about her disappearing any time soon.

Rick claims that all that will happen to Nina is that she will switch departments, but she will continue to make guest appearances on the successful show.

“It’s possible that Nina will transfer to a new office or a different section,” he continued to say. However, throughout Maggie’s absence, she proved to be an extremely useful resource, and I believe it is reasonable to anticipate that she will maintain a fascinating connection to the team in the future.

Fans are obviously pulling for Shantel to join Missy as a series regular in the show.

“I’ve missed Maggie. But I’ve grown rather fond of Nina, and I really hope that either they won’t kill her off or she won’t leave the show. One person tweeted, “I’d want to see more of her,” before another viewer commented, “If they’re utilizing old film Then they don’t have as much Nina. Additionally, if they intend to bring Maggie back, they want to put more of an emphasis on promoting her character. I don’t think that speaks anything about the plans they have for Nina based on what you just said. They are idiots if they try to eliminate her, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.”

We got the impression that there will be enough area for both of them!
